the name of Allah, the Magnanimous, the Merciful.
1. Surely We sent Nuh to his nation:
"Warn your nation,
before the painful
punishment is given to them."
2. He said: 'O my nation, surely I am a clear warner to you:
3. 'that you worship Allah and be conscious of Him;
'and obey me;
4. 'He forgives you your sins,
'and postpones you to a
termed season;
'surely Allah's term,
when it comes,
'it cannot be postponed
- if you knew.'
5. He said: 'My Lord, surely I invite my nation night and day,
6. so my invitation only increases their fleeing; …
